ABOUT ME

Amaya Hunt,  an interdisciplinary designer whose work varies from photography, graphic, illustration and fashion design.

Hunt is influenced by her environment, using her personal experiences along with social issues to fuel her work. Influencing change and bringing awareness through her work.

Primarily focusing on the Black female form and its representation in the world. Hunt dives into sex work, body image, exploitations and sexuality in her designs. Exploring various subcultures and identities her work knows no boundaries.

Taking inspiration from various outlets, her reoccurring influences come from; music, flowers, films and her own culture. Allowing her creative process to be fluid; while practicing reacting to her surroundings and designing in that present moment. 

Croqui's have become her canvas, giving a glimpse into her mental reality.
